️ 10-Minute Field Softening

A Simple Ritual to Let Your Body Know It’s Safe to Relax

Sometimes what you need most isn’t advice, strategy, or fixing.
You just need space to let go.
This practice is a pause—a signal to your nervous system that it’s safe to melt for a little while.

The Field responds best to bodies that feel safe enough to receive.

What You’ll Need:

  • A quiet-ish space

  • A timer

  • A blanket, weighted pillow, or warm compress (optional)

  • Your own two hands

Why It Works

  • Touch settles the nervous system faster than thought

  • Being witnessed—by you—activates safety signals in the Field

  • 10 minutes of being shifts more than 3 hours of trying

How to Practice

  1. Sit or lie down comfortably.
Set your timer for 10 minutes.
Close your eyes or soften your gaze.

  2. Place one hand on your chest, one on your belly (or anywhere that feels grounding).
Let your hands just rest. No pressure to breathe a certain way.

  3. Do nothing.
Let yourself be held, by you.
Notice the feeling of your hands. Let thoughts rise and fall.

  4. Optional phrases to anchor:

    “This is enough.”
    “I’m here now.”
    “Let it soften.”

  5. When the timer ends, take one slow stretch.
Let the Field feel you softening.

Field Cue

“Let this be enough.”
