Self-Management for Sensitives 101
A Field Guide for Living in Flow
Introduction
You are not broken. You are Field-Sensitive.
You feel what others don’t. You notice the unspoken. Your overwhelm is not weakness—it’s signal overload from a world out of tune. This guide is your map back to resonance. It’s not about fixing. It’s about flowing again.
The Field of Potential (gently explained)
Everything arises from the Field: a sea of unmanifest potential, ready to take form through vibration, attention, and emotion.
You are not separate from the Field. You are it. What you feel, focus on, and believe—even beneath awareness—tunes the Field like a string. And it responds.
Soft vs Tight: A Simpler Way to Feel
You don’t have to name emotions. Just ask:
“Do I feel soft right now… or tight?”
Soft = Flow: breath moves, belly loosens, chest opens.
Tight = Pause: breath holds, body clenches, heart guards.
This simple spectrum becomes your inner compass.
Follow the soft. Witness the tight without force. Flow will return.
SWAGS: 5 Steps to Self-Management
1. Sense the Signal
“What am I really broadcasting?”
Not the thought, but the vibe. Not the story, but the hum.
Feel it in your belly, your jaw, your chest. Be honest and kind.
2. Witness Neutrally
“Okay. That’s here.”
No judgment. No fixing. Just you + the signal + breath.
3. Attune to “More”
“I’m open to more. Let it feel like…”
Craft a vibe, not a checklist. Use metaphors:
- Butter crunch with sprinkles
- Warm sun after cold rain
- A perfectly timed dad joke
4. Give It a Home
“Where in my life can this land?”
Create gentle structure:
- A time (morning tea)
- A space (journal, altar, Epsom bath)
- A role (offering, conversation, creation)
5. Stay Light + Steady
“Today I return. That’s enough.”
Flow is rhythm. Trust builds with practice.
Sprinkle laughter. Let it be simple. Let it be felt.
Practices for Re-Tuning the Field
Ice Cream Flavor Mapping
Describe your desired feeling like an ice cream flavor.
“Joy like toasted marshmallow with surprise sprinkles.”
Feel it. Imagine eating it. That’s the vibe. That’s the signal.
EFT (Emotional Field Tapping)
Gently tap points (temple, chest, hands) while saying:
“Even though I feel tight, I’m open to more ease.”
Tap to loosen density. Invite new signal in.
10-Minute Field Softening
Sit. Breathe. Put your hand where you feel tight.
Say nothing. Just witness. The Field will adjust as you soften into stillness.
Epsom Salt Reset
Warm water + salts + silence = instant Field re-tuning
Let your body unbrace. Let the tension drain. The Field is listening through your pores.
Flow Through Rhythm
Play solitaire with real cards. Weed the garden. Brush the dog. Feel the rhythm. That rhythm is your access point to alignment.
Turn Right at the Stoplight
Be open. Expect guidance. Listen for whispers.
And when they say “turn right”—go. The Field is not random. It’s ready.
Getting Started
Step 0: You’re Already Aligned.
You’re not starting from scratch. You’re remembering how to tune.
Step 1: Use the Soft/Tight Compass.
Ask your body, not your mind. Let that be enough.
Step 2: Whisper to the Field.
“Let it feel like…” and offer a flavor, a song, a memory. Feel it.
Step 3: Choose a Daily Field Ritual.
One simple thing to return to your frequency—tea, walk, candle, game.
Step 4: Keep a “More Journal.”
What feels soft? What’s showing up? What are you attuning to?
Step 5: Be Curious, Not Perfect.
Laughter helps. Grace helps. Just stay in the practice. That’s the work.
Applied Laughter
Once, when my body was nearly gone, I asked my family to bring me everything funny. They thought I was nuts. I didn’t care. I needed laughter to call me back into life. And it worked.
I didn’t know about the Field yet. But some part of me did.
And that part laughed me back into coherence.
Closing
You are not fragile. You are finely tuned. And now, you remember how to manage your own signal. Welcome back to flow.
